Research Packages to Fit Your Budget

Do you have a lot of research that needs to be done, but are on a limited budget?  I've got a plan for you.

Research prices are:

20-Hour Research Package
Pay only a $800 flat fee (up to 20 hours) plus expenses.

Expenses for the 20-hour Research Package includes travel within a 100mi radius from Athens, AL; compilation of findings;

copies and certificates up to $75.00; and other services such as transcription and digitizing.

15-Hour Research Package
Pay only a $600 flat fee (up to 15 hours) plus expenses.

Expenses for the 15-hour Research Package includes travel within a 75mi radius from Athens, AL; compilation of findings; copies and certificates up to $50.00; and other services such as transcription and digitizing.

10-Hour Research Package
Pay only a $400 flat fee (up to 10 hours) plus expenses.

Expenses for the 10-hour Research Package includes travel within a 60mi radius from Athens, AL; compilation of findings; copies and certificates up to $40.00; and other services such as transcription and digitizing.

5-Hour Research Package
Pay only a $200 flat fee for 5 hours of research plus expenses.  

Expenses for the 5-Hour Research Package includes travel within a 30mi radius from Athens, AL; compilation of findings; copies and certificates up to $25.00; and other services such as transcription and digitizing.

3-Hour Research Package
My basic research package for only $125.00 including expenses.
Expenses for the 3-Hour Research Package includes travel to local repositories in Athens, AL; compilation of findings;
copies and certificates up to $15.00; and other services such as transcription and digitizing.

Custom Research Packages
If your project doesn't seem to fit my packages, please contact me for information and quotes on larger research projects on a case-by-case basis.

If you have been putting off your research due to cost,

now is the time to take advantage of these specials.  

Book production and Artistic Family Trees are included in the Custom Research package only.  

I charge a minimum of $40.00 per hour for research, travel time, and compilation time.  This price includes $5.00 for minor expenses such as copying, print-outs, etc.  Any of these expenses over $5.00 will be invoiced. All research will be pre-approved by the client and will be contracted on an hourly basis and paid in advance.  

Invoiced amounts due must be paid before research results will be mailed to the client.

• Computer printouts (i.e. online records)--$.75/page
• Computer generated photos (color or B&W)--$1.00/pg
• Other copies and photos--at cost
• Birth, death, or marriage certificates--at cost
• Digital services available;
  • copies to CD--$2.00 plus postage;
  • $1.00 per scanned item 
• Postage--$2.00 minimum

      Book prices begin at $50.00 for up to 50 pages; color pages extra.  Ask about volume discounts, and additional page prices.
